Ensembles
The jazz trio is our most basic jazz ensemble. It's
excellent for cocktail hour or dinner music with the most popular
configuration being piano, sax, & percussion.
The backbone instruments for a jazz ensemble are
piano, bass, and percussion. Adding voice instruments on top of that
such as guitar, saxophone, vocals, and trumpet changes the shape &
sound of the ensemble. We recommend specific instrument combinations
after listening to your music selections & tastes.
The brass quintet is becoming more and more popular.
It has a unique colorful tone and is less sensitive to inclement weather.
It is a new favorite for wedding ceremonies. |
