CASE STUDY 2: Panache delivers
a flawless multiple ensemble wedding performance. |

Sheryl Mellas wanted her daughter’s
wedding to be perfect. After listening to wedding music
CDs, she was very precise as to which music and ensembles
she wanted. Sheryl needed a professional who could deliver
each high quality ensemble requested while managing all
the complex details so that she could focus on other parts
of the ceremony.
Sheryl’s guests enjoyed a full performance from
an organist, a pianist, a violin and cello duet, and two
trumpets. All were Panache performers and were coordinated
by a consultant on site to create a colorful contrast
between the string, brass, and keyboard instruments. As
each ensemble took turns performing in different combinations
throughout the ceremony, they communicated wordlessly
with one another through eye contact to create an intricate
yet seamless performance. The highlight of Panache’s
performance was the recessional when the two trumpets
and organ announced the newly married couple together
with a powerful tone that filled the entire church.
Sheryl and her daughter enjoyed Panache for their
flexibility in honoring their unique requests and coordinating
the complex details of their music-centered wedding. |
