When planning the grand opening gala for
her trendy new shoe store in Birmingham, MI, owner Kate
Richard wanted the celebration to reflect her store: contemporary,
chic, and elegant. She approached Panache because she
wanted to add to her gala the air of sophistication that
only live music could provide.
Panache recommended a jazz pianist to provide background
music as guests mingled, sipped cocktails, and enjoyed
hors d'oeuvres. The ensemble fit perfectly since the party
took place within the new store and there was limited
space. Bringing his own keyboard, the pianist played jazz
and background music selections throughout the evening
while being conscious that the music should not be too
loud or overbearing. This allowed the guests to enjoy
both the music and each other’s company in conversation.
Kate complimented Panache on their thorough and thoughtful
approach to helping plan music for her event. Her Panache
consultant was present to oversee every detail of the
arrangement and made a point of arriving at the gala to
ensure a perfect performance.
